Jukka Nevalainen
Jukka Antero "Julius" Nevalainen (born April 21st, 1978) is a Finnish percussionist who was the original drummer for Nightwish, from 1997 until July 2019. Because of insomnia, he was on hiatus from 2014 to 2019; Kai Hahto of Wintersun filled in for him on Endless Forms Most Beautiful, as well as the supporting tour for that album and the Decades tour.
Despite his departure, he is still working with the band in a "behind-the-scenes" manner.
